It’s showtime. Swizz Beatz and Timbaland faced off in their long-awaited beat battle at Hot 97’s Summer Jam on Sunday (June 10).

After agreeing to the challenge almost one year ago, the super-producers turned New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium into a battle arena for their epic showdown.

Timbo hit the stage during Swizz’ set for a 15-minute battle.

“I told this ni**a I’m with all the smoke, so I pulled up in yo’ city,” he said before launching into his catalog of hits including Ginuwine’s “Pony,” Missy Elliott’s “Get Ur Freak On,” and JAY-Z’s “Big Pimpin’.”

Swizz didn’t hold back, firing off his own arsenal of hits including Eve’s “What Ya Want,” DMX’s “Party Up (Up in Here),” and JAY-Z’s “Jigga My Ni**a.”

At the end, Swizz promised an encore.

“This is to be continued,” he said. “I ain’t finished with the ass-whoppin’ and I guess he ain’t. There’s too much catalog.”

Swizz is now readying his new album Poison for release on July 20. Earlier this month, he dropped his new single “It’s Okayyy.”
