Vanessa Veasley: I’m from Main Line Philly.

Vanessa Veasley: Jamaican and a few other things.

Vanessa Veasley: My measurements are 36D-24-38

How did you get started in modeling?

Vanessa Veasley: My mom got me started when I was younger. I got into the sexier side of the industry after gaining my fresman 15 in collage.

Who do you respect most in the modeling industry?

Vanessa Veasley: Brooke Burke. She’s beautiful, intellegent, and a class act.

We know you are quite the business woman, what keeps you driven?

Vanessa Veasley: I just always try to outdo whatever I’ve done before. when I accompish a goal or task I just think, “Wow. If I can do that, what else can I do” then I set out doing it!

Whats it like being the managing editor of Show Magazine?

Vanessa Veasley: I have now been promoted to Editor. I love it! I’ve always wanted to take my education and modeling experience and apply it to something else in the industry. It truly is a dream job.

Is it exciting being on the cover/feature of the new ShowCase mag?

Vanessa Veasley: It’s very exciting! SHOWCase takes the style and photography to another level. It was my last shoot before I joined the SHOW staff so it is very special to me. I’m so honored to have been selected for it.

Not many editors look as good as you do.Have you ever thought to yourself, ‘That girl ain’t poppin. I could do better for that shoot.’

Vanessa Veasley: Never! As a model, I had a reputation for getting more girls work than I got myself. It’s awesome to see another girl do her thing. If I’m on set a a girl isn’t working to her potential, I don’t hate or gloat. I see what I can do to help her have her best shoot possible.

Would you ever do a reality tv show?

Vanessa Veasley: Not sure. I like to watch some reality TV. I love all the shows on Bravo. I always feel like my life should be documented on a show to some degree because it gets very interesting around here at times. lol

What advice do you have for any aspiring models?

Vanessa Veasley: Work hard, but be patient! Never judge your success by what other women are doing. Everyone has their own time in which things will happen. Learn to take rejection as a positive thing, and most importantly be professional at all times. Don’t drink or drug or gossip on sets. Leave drama with other women at home. The way you get ahead is taking care of your health, mind, and body and being EASY to work with, not by being EASY in bed!

What do you think is your best physical attribute?

Vanessa Veasley: My skin tone. I don’t have perfect skin by a long shot, but it glows and photographers always compliment me on it.

How often do you workout?

Vanessa Veasley: I workout 3 times a week and try to do at least one active thing every weekend (hike, ride horses, roller skate, or a brisk walk through the city)

What are some of you current projects?

Vanessa Veasley: Right now I’m just focused on my position as Editor at SHOW. I may still shoot from time to time for fun, I’m still launching my site: www.vanessaveasley.com because my fans are demanding it. I’m so excited about what I can do here at SHOW that everything else has to take a back seat for now.

What are some of your future goals?

Vanessa Veasley: I would love to produce/host a travel show. Personally, I also would love to start a family as well.

How would you best describe your personality?

Vanessa Veasley: I can try to hide it, but anyone that knows me for over and hour knows I am opinionated, head-strong, and a nerd.

What are some of your turn-ons and turnoffs?

Vanessa Veasley: I love manly men, I’m turned off by high-maintenance pretty boys.

What type of guys do you like?

Vanessa Veasley: I love a man that has a strong work ethic, who is honest and straight forward, loves his mommy and knows how to treat a woman.

What is something about you that people would be surprised to know?

 

Vanessa Veasley: I have never seen any of the Friday movies. I know… I know… so sue me!

Are you interesting in acting and or doing music videos?

Vanessa Veasley: Not against acting if the right thing comes along, but it’s not a passion of mine at all. I’ve done ton’s of music videos. The most recent being Kanye West’s “Amazing” which was shot by Hype Williams in Kauai, Hawaii.-CC
