A day after announcing that he was parting ways with New York’s Hot 97 on his twitter account earlier this week, DJ Envy announced that he’ll be joining Clear Channel Radio’s Power 105.1 in New York.

“I’m excited to start hosting afternoons at Power 105.1,” he told Splash of Dajaz1.com. “Now I’m with the first person that put me on the radio, Ed Lover, and the person who taught me how to mix, DJ Clue. I’m honored to join a young team of talented jocks. The grind begins… it’s movin!”

Envy will now fill the 2 to 6 p.m. slot as Power 105.1’s afternoon personality.
